Rajasthan is the land of the bravery, faithfulness, royalty of the Rajput community. Rajasthan is the largest state in India. With its unparalleled beauty, it is one of the most visited states of India. Though it is nearer to the desert you will be amazed by the colorful lifestyle of the people. They welcome you wholeheartedly.
Rajasthan is the symbol of pride of great warriors of Rajputana. With its opulent palaces, skyscraper forts, large and brilliantly blue lakes, Rajasthan tourism places win your heart at first glance.

Golden Fort-Jaisalmer
Rajasthan is clean, calm, and also hot and humid. Both summer and winter season has a strong impact on the weather of Rajasthan. October to February is the most pleasant time to visit Jaipur. Avoid May-June as the temperature goes to as high as 45℃. Here in this article, you will get a 10 days tour itinerary for Rajasthan tourism places.

Rajasthan Tourism Places-10 days Tour Itinerary

Day 1:
We reached Jaipur airport at night. Jaipur Airport wins the cleanest airport in India this year. I took a rest for the night and started our tour the next morning.
Jaipur-the pink city is well connected by air, rail, and road to all major cities in India. You can easily reserve a cab from New Delhi to Jaipur and on the way do visit Agra if you have time in hand. This city is the center of attraction of Rajasthan tourism places.
Jal Mahal
Day 2:
We started to visit Rajasthan tourist places with Jaipur sightseeing. Jaipur can be best explored in my opinion by auto, cab, taxi, or open roof 2 storied double bus.
We start in the early morning and went straight to the City Palace. City Palace, Jantar Mantar, and Hawa mahal are located close to each other. That is why we start our day visiting the trio. This trio along with some other Jaipur tourist places listed below steal my heart forever.

Day 3:
The next day after taking our breakfast we went to Jantar Mantar to spend some more time there. Also, we entered the Hawa Mahal as we skipped it last time. I went back to the hotel at 11 am.
After lunch started our journey towards Jaisalmer-The golden city.
I will suggest you catch a train from Jaipur. We reached Jaisalmer at 4 am the next day. Ask your hotelier to arrange a cab for you. It will be too cold in the dawn, so keep some woolen ready for your kids.

Day 4:
After taking breakfast we went to explore Jaisalmer. Jaisalmer which literally means “the Hill Fort of Jaisal”, is a major tourist attraction of India. Jaisalmer is named after Maharawal Jaisal Singh.

Go straight to the Golden fort. The gigantic fort is made of yellowish sandstone. It becomes golden at the time of sunrise and sunset. It's an amazing feeling to experience the color change of the fort. It will take nearly 2 hours to explore it. Jaisalmer is the most adventurous spot among the tourism places of Rajasthan.

Sam sand dunes
Next, we moved to the man-made beautiful serene Gaddisar lake, Patwon ki haveli, and Nathmal Ji ki Haveli situated close to each other. Try to complete the tour by 2 pm.
After taking lunch and rest we were eagerly waiting to explore Sam sand dunes.
The Sam sand dune is located on the outskirts of Jaisalmer, at least 42 kilometers away. It takes nearly 1 hour to go there.
You can enjoy jeep safari, camel safari, and unlimited tribal music free of cost there. Later move to the desert camp if you wish. To confirm your bookings at any desert camp of your choice. You can enjoy music, adventures in the desert in those camps.

Day 5 :
We left Jaisalmer in the morning, after enjoying the sunrise in the desert. We reached Jodhpur at about 2 pm. Try to book an AC cab as it's going to be a long journey. You can also visit the clock tower and adjacent market in the morning. Take rest for the rest of the day.

Day 6 :
This day was purely dedicated to Jodhpur sightseeing. Mehrangarh palace comes at the top of the list.
The next two best places of interest are Jaswant Thada and Umaid Bhawan Palace. After completing the tour we move towards Udaipur. On the way, we were thrilled with the amazing view of the Ranakpur Jain temple. We reached Udaipur at 8 pm. Took a rest at night.
Saheliyon ki Bari
Day 7 :
Udaipur tour places are famous for their green mountains and blue water lakes amidst the desert. Places to visit in Udaipur breaks the monotony of desert and fort centered view of Rajasthan. It is very hard to select the best from a large variety of  Udaipur tour placesStill, I will try my level best to pick the best Udaipur tour places for other travelers.
  1. City palace
  2. Lake Pichhola
  3. Lake Palace
  4. Jagdish tenple

Day 8:
In the morning we move towards Chittorgarh.
We kept our luggage in the railway clock room. Then I enjoyed the famous Chittorgarh fort, Jauhar Kund, Bijoy Stambha, Padmini Mahal.
The fort will take you towards the heritage era of the great warriors and brave queen. You can also explore Meera's Krishna mandir here.
We enjoyed our Rajasthani lunch and took the train towards Ajmer At 4 PM. We went straight to Pushkar at 8 PM.

Day 9:
Pushkar is famous for its Bramha temple. Sabitri temple and serene Pushkar lake. It is a sacred place for Hindus.
Ajmer is famous for the Mainuddin Chisti's Dargah. Both of them are twin towns. One day will be sufficient for the twin tour. Left for Jaipur in the evening. The road was in very good condition.

Day 10 :
If you are a shopaholic then Jaipur is a treat to you. You have multiple markets near Hawa Mahal called Jahuri Bazar(famous for ornaments), Bapuji Bazar(famous for dresses and shoes), Tripolia market, and Chand Pole market.
I went to the Bapuji market. Believe me, you can choose from an immense variety of marble work, jewelry, Kundan work, Chura, dresses for everything.
Finally, we reached the airport in the evening for the returning flight. It was a great tour filled with lots of memories. Hope this article will help you a lot to make a perfect plan for the Rajasthan tourism places. We have skipped Mount Abu due to a shortage of time.
