So the mothers have to think of some evening snacks for kids. Kids are active, so we have to give them good healthy evening snacks after their play session or sports activities.

Here are some tasty evening snacks for kids that are also beneficial for their health. These snacks incorporate nutritious ingredients that will boost their energy and brain. Kids do not like repetition. So keep changing the taste with little modification.

Egg Tomato Chaat

You can serve this in the evening when kids feel hungry. Egg Tomato and potato chaat are one of the tastiest evening snacks for kids. It is nothing but a healthy salad version with a twist.

Boil potato and egg. Cut boiled egg, potato, raw tomato, onion, and green chilies into round or star shape. Toss with salt and black pepper. Now sprinkle some chaat masala over the dish. Garnish with coriander.

Potato is a good source of carbs. Carbs provide energy to the brain and body that is most important for play and sports. Kids love the tanginess of tomatoes. They are also a great source of vitamin C, potassium, folate, and vitamin K. Egg is a must for all kids and children.

Fruit Custard

Who doesn't like custard? All of us love custard. Kids are great fans of custard. So you have a golden opportunity to feed them fruits.

 Fruits have immense health benefits for children. They are loaded with antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals. These nutrients boost your child's immune system.

Rush to the shops. Buy a custard powder. You choose the flavor according to your kid's choice. Most of them like vanilla, strawberry, chocolate flavor. Add any seasonal fruits like strawberries, blueberries, apples, oranges or melons, etc.

Frustrated because your child does not want to eat veggies? don't be. Here is a smart way out. Prepare an all-time favorite Indian dessert recipe for your champ.

Spring is here. Moreover, Carrots are easily available. So try to prepare super tasty high-calorie evening snacks for kids.

Grate  1 kg Carrots. Put on the flame and add plenty of Ghee. Saute Carrots until they become moist and soft. Add 1 liter of milk and 200 gm Sugar. 

Now reduced to a consistency of a halwa or pudding. Sprinkle 1 teaspoonful cardamom powder over the desert. Enjoy it with the whole family.

Carrots are great for kids due to their antioxidants, fiber, vitamins. It is also good for teeth and gum development. The benefits of milk are well known for kids.

Sprout Chaat

Sprouts offer huge benefits for your kid's health. It is packed with vitamin A and C.Vitamin C is good for immunity build-up. Vitamin A improves vision. 
Make sprouts interesting by adding tomato, onion, coriander, green chili, boiled potato cubes. Mix everything with a dash of salt. Add Chaat masala and lemon juice. Kids love to eat chaat. So it would be very beneficial for their health.
